Laylatul Qadr is the Night of Power, which is better than a thousand months. On this night, Muslims should make du’a (supplication) to Allah, asking for His forgiveness and blessings. One of the most recommended du’as to recite on this night is “Allahumma innaka Afuwwun (Karimun) tuhibbul fu `annee”, which means “O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, (Generous) You love to pardon, so pardon me”1234. This du’a is attributed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is reported in Bukhari1. Another du’a that can be recited on this night is “O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad”5.
